Global Jet Now Flying Charters In China

Global Jet’s fleet in China has grown with the addition of three more jets this year, and the company’s Asia-based fleet now numbers five aircraft. The Geneva-headquartered private jet company’s worldwide fleet of privately operated and charter aircraft has now reached 67.

The new jets include a 2011 Airbus ACJ319 and 2012 Cessna Citation XLS+ that joined the fleet in January and a Bombardier Challenger 605 added in February. The Global Jet fleet ranges from a Citation CJ2 to an Airbus A340 and also includes a Falcon 2000 and 7X, a Gulfstream G450, a Bombardier Global Express XRS and a Global 6000 and many others.
In China, Global Jet (Stand P218) is partnered with Hangzhou-based Jinggong Business Aircraft, which is part of Jinggong Group and also holds a Chinese air operator certificate. Under the partnership, Global Jet is able to operate charter flights in its China-based jets. “We can now claim with pride that we are a China-based operator,” said David Mezenen, chief representative for Global Jet in greater China.
In addition to charter services, Global Jet specializes in aircraft management, sales and acquisitions and design and completion services. The company has been operating in China since 2006. In addition to its Geneva headquarters, Global Jet has a presence in Beijing, Hangzhou, Luxembourg, Monaco, Moscow, Paris and Vienna.
