Um avião da TAM vindo de Brasília derrapou e teve seus pneus danificados ao pousar no aeroporto de Belém no final da tarde deste domingo (8), quando caía uma forte chuva.
Não houve feridos entre os 164 passageiros e seis tripulantes a bordo. O voo era o JJ3446.
Por causa do acidente, a pista do aeroporto ficou interditada das 16h30 (18h30 de Brasília) até as 22h50 (0h50 de Brasília), de acordo com a Infraero, estatal que administra os aeroportos.
Como são duas pistas, somente uma ficou funcionando neste período. Cinco voos sofreram atrasos.
Uma investigação está sendo feita para determinar exatamente as causas da derrapagem. Hoje, o aeroporto de Belém operava normalmente.
A TAM informou, em nota enviada à imprensa, que "lamenta os transtornos experimentados pelos clientes".

A TAM Linhas Aereas Airbus A320-200, registration PR-MHX performing flight JJ-3446 from Brasilia,DF to Belem,PA (Brazil), burst both left main gear tyres while landing on Belem's runway 06 at 16:12L (19:12Z) in rain and veered left towards the runway edge, but came to a stop with all gear on the runway, the nose gear just inside the runway edge line. The aircraft remained disabled on the runway.
The runway was closed for about 6 hours until the aircraft was moved off the runway.
The airline reported the aircraft blew the tyres upon applying brakes as result of the rain while landing in Belem.
