What Were Delivery Flights Like in the 1980s?

We’ve had the chance to fly aboard a few delivery flights in our time, and they’re always fun, festive events, particularly when an airline is receiving a new aircraft type for the first time. As part of the Nuts About Southwest blog’s Flashback Fridays series, Southwest Airlines historian Brian Lusk takes us for a ride in the Love Field time machine for a look back at how the carrier celebrated the deliveries of its first three shiny new Boeing 737-200s in the 1980s.
